My name is Shawn Bentley. I have been collecting pretty much anything you can think of since I was a little boy. I have always loved collecting and sharing my love for the hobby with younger generations. Collecting is a dying hobby and I would like to revive it!
My personal collection focus is Anything Oklahoma Sooners and Cards Serial Numbered 616/xxx. The story behind this collection is simple. My son was born 6/1/2006. It is my hope to pass this collection down to my son if the time comes that he develops an interest in the hobby.
I began my online collecting activities on a site called Trading Card Central (www.tradingcardcentral.com) Through TCC, I met numerous wonderful collectors (and some even in person!) While I was in the Army deployed to Iraq, I spent the majority of my computer privilege time on TCC buying and selling sports cards. A lot of collectors where willing to wait the 2-3 weeks it would sometimes take to receive cards from me, and the friendships we built from thousands of miles away will always be one of my fondest collecting memories!
